B&B Hotel Chemnitz

The hotel was a bit off the highway but easily accessible. There was a receptionist on site, but self check-in was also an option. The room was clean and compact, and it accommodated three people and a dog comfortably for one night. There was a McDonald's next to the hotel, which was open until 1 AM, so we could get a meal even though we arrived late. The breakfast was okay.

Very nice hotel, just what you need to have for a good rest. Rooms are not very big, but comfortable. Finally, in the family room double bed which was not two single beds put together. There is free parking. Despite the fact we had rooms on the side of the quite busy street, it was very quiet. And there was air conditioning unit. Very good coffee!

The room was very clean and comfortable considering the price. It was possible to make yourself a cup of tea in the Lobby, there was even a good selection of different types of tea. The staff was ok and check-in went quickly.

Located conveniently close to the centre of town, the “budget” establishment reflects rather the corporate ethos than a psychotic excercise in cost cutting. It had everything we needed and, indeed it was pretty much “All You Need” place. The staff was friendly, the room was adequate without being huge and the heating was on! The only slight weirdness was that the doors were opened by a PIN number and not a keycard – but it worked well once we tried it on the correct room … The breakfast selection was very good and we liked the strong accent of sustainability.

Clean room, and nice breakfast. Access in the night was kindly arranged by hotel as well as remote check-in. It was pleasure.
